Caked Las Vegas is a family owned and operated business that was created by Carolyn Portuondo.
Carolyn was born and raised in Honolulu, HI and currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband and 2 young children. In 2001, She obtained her bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry with plans of attending medical school. After testing the waters in the medical field she decided to throw in the towel and submit to her love of pastries. She attended the Culinary Institute of America for baking and pastry. She later worked for Alan Wong's a top fine dining restaurant in Honolulu, and the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
In 2009, after being a stay at home mom with her two toddlers, she decided to take a risk and follow her dreams. Caked Las Vegas was born.
At Caked we strive for perfection. We create custom cakes and pastries that are designed to match each clients personality, vision and theme. We take inspiration from all aspects of our surroundings, architecture, science, toys, children, art, landscape, fabric, but most of all the client.
Caked Las Vegas is a creative and open-minded environment. We are relaxed and flexible but very professional. The possibilities are limitless, if you can dream it, we can make it.
